On Wednesday, June 2, 2010 we met to explore the history, politics, cultures and peoples of Cuba! Cubans represented the 5th largest population arriving into the Portland area in 2009 and have been one of the largest populations served by IRCO for over 10 years. Cuban members of IRCO’s staff were on hand to share about their country, talk about the experiences of Cubans coming to the U.S., and answer questions about Cuba and Cuban culture.
